"Pain and Passion: The History of Stampede Wrestling" is an excellent book about Stampede Wrestling. It was written by Heath McCoy who is a reporter for the Calgary Herald and has apparently been a lifelong wrestling fan. He did a lot of research and conducted many interviews for this book. There are many great stories and nice pictures in this book. It is definitely recommended for anyone who is a fan of Stampede Wrestling or anyone who wants to know more about Stampede Wrestling. I would actually recommended for anyone interesting in pro wrestling, because it's the story about one of the most intriguing territories in the history of pro wrestling.

"Pain and Passion" and Dynamite Kid's "Pure Dynamite" are my favourite books. And I got really interested in Bret Hart's book after reading "Pain and Passion." So I recently ordered Bret's book and I am actually reading it right now. It looks like Bret's book will also be one of my favourite books, along with the aforementioned two books. I'm still in the first few chapters and there are many interesting stories about Stampede Wrestling in it. So it's kind of interesting to see that my favourite books are either partially about Stampede Wrestling (Dynamite's book and Bret's book) or completely about Stampede Wrestling ("Pain and Passion"). That's not really a surprise though, because Stampede Wrestling is one of my favourite promotions of all time.

I finished reading Bret's book. And it is definitely one of my favourite wrestling books. I think I'll start reading it for the second time in the near future.
